We slept in a little late today, conserving energy for what we knew would be a long day of watching and helping if we were lucky.  Traditionally there are a lot more willing hands to do grunt work and Dave and the other experts get pulled in all directions.

We ate breakfast at the buffet in the hotel, same fare as always..  There were 5 people at a nearby table that didn't leave any tip for the waitress, what a bunch of cheap asses.

Mike drove to Dave and Jeannies, I drove all day yesterday, I tried to get Mike to drive first thing in the morning but he refused and told me to drive.  I should have insisted, once I started driving I forgot to offer him the left seat until after the best parts, he didn't get to drive any of the really twisty stuff.  Next time we head there if he still doesn't have his car running I'll just have to sit in the passenger seat and force him to drive.

They had the supercharger on the motor and were plumbing it up when we got there, the convertible that had the incident yesterday was parked in the front, it looked like it never touched the engine, just the bumper and sheet metal as far back as the radiator.  Some one said that the car was bent because cutting the roof off compromises the integrity of the body but it seemed ok as far as we could tell from a cursory look.

We stayed until the supercharged car was running, there were still a few pieces to finish up but it was close when we left.

We hit Hardee's on the way back to the hotel, one of the few things open after 9.
