Our last day of sailing class, we started the morning at the boat like yesterday there was good wind and 2 foot seas, very cool sailing.  We got to put a reef in the main sail and see how much it really did help.  There was water running over the deck we were heeled so far.

We passed the final exam,  we are both now US Sailing Basic Keelboat certified, we have a certificate and a logbook, will be getting our official cards in the mail.

Cliff offered us the boat for a couple hours by ourselves after the class was officially finished, we declined, after 3 days of sailing all we wanted to do was head back to the hotel and take a nap.

We got back to the hotel and rested for a few hours, I really wanted to go down to the pool but didn't want to risk any more sun today, so I just opened my patio door to enjoy the sound of the surf and the Jimmy Buffet songs from the live entertainment at the beach bar.

We walked down to Crabby Bill's next door, we couldn't get a table on the porch to watch the sunset so we just headed downstairs to the dining room for dinner indoors  I had the combo platter with conch fritters, grilled shrimp and grilled mahi-mahi, I also tried their clam chowder, it was good too.  Key lime pie was also excellent.
