Well, got to sleep in. AGAIN... My poor wil' brain don't know what to do wif itself after this.
Went down and checked out the chotch shop and pool. Laid in the sun for a while and did some "active relaxing".
Oh yeah, what we've been waiting for. Took a dip in the Gulf (a little cooler than I expected, but oh so nice). Stepped on something squishy that swam off and then went a little too far and managed to step on more stuff. Turned out to be urchins (or whatever it is that turns into a sand dollar when it dies). Say it was mid 80's with nice breeze. Sure do miss Chi-town about now --- yeah right. In fact it seemed that this was OH SO terrible here our first day, that in order to properly evaluate its (for you Christine) merits, we decided to stay for a couple more nights. Want to be fair after all, right? ;-)Ate at Denny's, which normally I would not review, but I am after all, a sauce connoisseur and what better to try than the "smothered" option. Consisting of sausage gravy, diced onions and cheddar cheese slathered on top of the chicken fried steak eggs and hash brownies. Oh Nellie. Just finished paying the bill for that one. Bad move.
Nothing much else to report here, from the land of sunshine.
Oh yeah. YES, I did use sun block. And NO there were no topless German girls to talk to.
